Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II
The 2025 Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II unveils a refreshed design for its headlights and taillights. Inside, this luxury sedan introduces innovative materials, including an open-pore Grey Stained Ash and a rayon fabric, known as Duality Twill, crafted from bamboo. The twin-turbocharged V-12 engine remains unchanged, delivering a powerful output of 563 horsepower.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II – Exterior Design
Rolls-Royce Has unveiled the 2025 Ghost Series II, an enhanced version of the second-generation sedan introduced in 2021. This new model features a slightly refined design, a more elaborate interior, and an expanded range of customization options.
The visual updates are subtle yet noticeable, featuring slimmer headlights that boast an upward curvature at the bottom edge, a departure from the more angular, rectangular appearance of the previous model. The lower bumper has also been subtly redesigned, featuring smaller vents and two elegant, flowing chrome elements. Additionally, the Ghost is now available with two new 22-inch, nine-spoke wheel designs.
Rolls-Royce has introduced a new exterior paint color, Mustique Blue, which is designed to capture the essence of the Caribbean island of the same name, a territory of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. This metallic finish is crafted to mimic the shimmer of sunlight on the sea, achieved by incorporating glass and mica flakes. This unique color was first seen on a 1929 Phantom II Continental prototype, which was later owned by Henry Royce, the founder of Rolls-Royce. The introduction of Mustique Blue not only pays tribute to the Phantom II, which was among the pioneers in using pearlescent paint, but also serves as a nod to the car’s iconic status.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II – Interior Design
Inside, the Ghost now boasts Rolls-Royce’s latest Spirit infotainment system, showcased on a central screen that spans the width of the dashboard, protected by a glass panel. The passenger’s side features a redesigned “Illuminated Fascia” that mimics “time-lapse celestial photography,” with the option for buyers to add their own unique touch through the Bespoke program. Additionally, the Bespoke program now lets owners choose the color of their digital instrument gauges to complement either the car’s interior or exterior color scheme. A new “clock cabinet” in the dashboard houses both an analog clock and an illuminated stainless-steel Spirit of Ecstasy ornament.
For the Series II, rear passengers now have the ability to connect up to two devices to the rear screens, allowing for independent streaming of content. The rear screens feature an updated user interface designed to manage functions like entertainment, massage seats, and heated and ventilated seat options. Additionally, the Wi-Fi hotspot has been enhanced, and USB-C charging ports have been integrated into the center console. The 18-speaker sound system has also been upgraded with a new 1400-watt amplifier, providing an enhanced audio experience.
The Series II introduces an innovative open-pore wood trim named Grey Stained Ash, featuring microscopic metallic particles that lend it a sparkling appearance. Additionally, it boasts a new rayon fabric, Duality Twill, crafted from bamboo. This fabric is embossed with a design that subtly reflects the interlinked R badge, symbolizing the names of the founders of Rolls-Royce. Duality Twill is available in three colors: Lilac, Chocolate, and Black, with an impressive 51 different colors for the stitching. The Ghost also presents an upholstery look known as Placed Perforation. This design incorporates 107,000 perforations into the seats to mimic the shapes of clouds above Rolls-Royce’s Goodwood headquarters.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II – Engine Specs
Under the hood, the 6.7-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 remains unchanged, continuing to deliver 563 horsepower across an eight-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels. A new Satellite Aided Transmission system leverages GPS data to determine the optimal gear for exiting a corner, taking into account the curvature of the turn. This system works in harmony with Rolls-Royce’s Flagbearer system, which uses cameras to scan the road ahead and ensure the suspension remains as smooth as possible.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II – Pricing
The Extended Long-Wheelbase model is set to return in 2025. While there’s currently no information available on the price of the new Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II, it is expected to be several thousand dollars more expensive than the starting price of the 2024 model, which was $354,750.
