Mini has introduced the new Cooper S featuring the JCW pack, priced at Rs 55.90 lakh (ex-showroom) during the ongoing Auto Expo 2025. Bookings have officially opened today, with deliveries expected to start in April. This model boasts a more powerful engine compared to the standard Cooper S, which is currently available in India, and showcases a sportier design both inside and out.

The Mini Cooper S JCW boasts a powerful 231hp, 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine. It features a sleek blacked-out design both inside and out, complemented by striking red accents.

Mini Cooper S JCW: Details

The latest Mini JCW is equipped with the same 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine found in the standard Cooper, but it has been enhanced to deliver 231hp and 380Nm of peak torque—an increase of 27hp and 80Nm over the standard hatch. This powertrain is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission featuring paddle shifters, a feature absent in the regular Cooper S. The Mini John Cooper Works can accelerate from 0 to 100kph in just 6.1 seconds and boasts a top speed of 250kph.

In contrast to the standard Cooper, the JCW variant features a sleek black front grille adorned with the distinctive three-color John Cooper Works emblem, complemented by larger air intakes. It also boasts exclusive JCW LED daytime running lights that set it apart from the regular model. At the back, the John Cooper Works is fitted with a newly designed rear spoiler, a black rear diffuser, and a centrally located exhaust pipe. Additionally, there are striking red accents strategically placed throughout.

The interior features a striking red-and-black color scheme, highlighted by JCW sports seats covered in black synthetic leather, vibrant knitted fabric, and accented with red stitching. A unique JCW sports steering wheel adds to the sporty feel, while the overall cabin design stays consistent with the standard model. The remainder of the interior, including the distinctive circular floating infotainment screen, retains its quirky charm, similar to that of the regular Cooper S.
