TVS has launched the Apache RTR 160 Race Edition at a cost of Rs 1.29 Lakhs.

In RTR series New Racing variant is added the New TVS Apache RTR 160. As We look to the motorcycle the design is same a regular RTR 160 2V. TVS has updated Decals on the new Apache RTR. In RTR 2V line-up The New RTR 160 Race Edition is most costly motorcycle. We get to see new updates on RTR 160 race edition. The Overall Design is same as before. The Engine also remains same as before. In Race Edition We get Rear Disc Brake & 10mm Wider Tyre for better handling & for better riding experience. The Black colour with racing decals & Red Alloy wheel paint scheme is only available on TVS Apache RTR 160 2V.

The New Apache RTR 160 Race Edition comes with LED headlight setup which gives good road visibility, Race inspired Digital Rider Display with Bluetooth Connectivity & Gear position indicator, LED tail lamp, For more appealing design we get Engine Cowl & scooped out tank to give a sports bike feeling, step up single piece seat.
Performance
Apache RTR 160 Race Edition Bike comes with over squared Engine with RT-FI Technology. It is powered by a 159.7 cc Air cooled Fuel injected petrol Engine that put’s out Max. Power- 16.04hp at 8,750rpm and Max. Torque- 13.85Nm at 7,000rpm. The Engine is mated with 5-speed gearbox. The top speed of RTR 160 is about 107km/hr. The Bike comes in 3 different mode (Urban, Rain, Sports) in Sports mode we get a lap timer.
We also get to see Glide Through Technology (GTT). This first in segment feature which allows to start moving vehicle with slow release of the clutch with no use of throttle this feature is very useful when you stuck in a traffic or slow moving traffic which make rider comfortable to handle bike in the traffic.
We get Synchronized Stiff Chassis for better handling & for better high speed stability. To enhance the riding feel & feedback from the bike TVS has given performance specified Suspension.
Safety
Apache RTR 160 race edition comes with dual disc brake set-up. At front we get 270mm petal disc with single channel ABS. At rear we get 200mm Petal disc brake. To give more confidence to rider TVS has given wider rear tyre. We get a 120 section rear tyre.
