Nissan has Revealed the 4th Generation X-Trail For Indian Market Ahead of its official Launch. The new X-Trail will be available for limited Numbers for Indian Market & will be bought in India through CBU (completely built unit). With the Launch of Nissan X-Trail the Overall line-up of Nissan Will increase in India to Attract Customers.
Nissan X-Trail- Design
The fourth-generation X-Trail, which is built on the CMF-C platform, has been available for purchase internationally since 2021 in both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations. However, the Indian market will receive the three-row variant. The X-Trail boasts a boxy and upright appearance, along with a split-headlamp design, a ‘V-Motion’ grille with dark chrome accents, rounded wheel arches featuring plastic cladding, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and wraparound LED tail-lamps.
Version 1: The X-Trail has dimensions of 4,680mm in length, 1,840mm in width, and 1,725mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,705mm. It also features a 5.5m turning radius, 210mm of ground clearance, and is equipped with 255/45 R20 tires.
Overall Look Wise We can say that it some how looks like Mini Nissan Patrol which the Iconic SUV From Nissan.

We got a little bit of idea what we will get inside. We will get a Massive dual-pane panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, wireless smartphone charger, keyless entry and push-button start. Other features shown earlier include drive modes, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold function and cruise control.
Nissan has Also confirmed that the India-spec model also gets a 360-degree camera and paddle shifters. The second row has a 40/20/40 split-folding, sliding and reclining functions, while the third row gets 50/50 split-folding and reclining functions. Safety kit on the India-spec X-Trail includes seven airbags, auto wipers, ABS and EBD, traction control, a limited-slip diff, hill-start assist and front parking sensors.
Nissan X-Trail- Engine Spec
X-Trail for India will only have a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. This engine has a variable compression ratio and is equipped with a 12V mild-hybrid system, generating 163hp and 300Nm. It will be matched with a shift-by-wire CVT auto gearbox, which is claimed to have minimal rubberband effect.
Nissan X-Trail- Pricing, Rivals
The X-Trail’s prices are anticipated to fall within the range of Rs 40 lakh to Rs 45 lakh, given that the SUV will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU).
The New Nissan X-Trail will Directly compete with Toyota Fortuner, Toyota Fortuner Legender, MG Gloster, Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Merideian which are currently on Sale in India & Comes under the same Price Slab that Nissan X-Trail is going to Launch.
