New Ford Everest Tremor Revealed with Off-Road Upgrades.
Ford has unveiled an advanced off-road-oriented model of the Everest SUV in Australia. Named the Everest Tremor, this SUV receives a variety of enhancements to increase its capabilities beyond those of the basic model previously available in India, which was marketed as the Endeavour.
The Everest Tremor is exclusively equipped with the 3.0-liter, V6 diesel engine and standard 4WD.
Ford Everest Tremor – New Upgrades
The enhancements encompass a suspension upgrade, off-road tires, underbody protection, and several visual improvements. Ford has fitted the Everest Tremor with position-sensitive Bilstein Dampers and a lift kit, all without compromising its 3.5-tonne towing capacity. Additionally, it receives 17-inch black alloy wheels adorned with General Grabber AT3 All-Terrain tires and Asphalt Black wheel arch moldings.The enhancements encompass a suspension upgrade, off-road tires, underbody protection, and several visual improvements. The enhancements also feature a new grille equipped with factory-installed auxiliary LED lights, front tow hooks, and a steel bash plate. Additionally, Ford is introducing an optional Rough Terrain Pack, which includes an ARB Stealth Bar at the front, ARB Under Vehicle Armour, and an auxiliary switch bank. The Everest Tremor now boasts a new Rock Crawl drive mode, in addition to the six existing off-road and on-road drive modes, complemented by bespoke ebony leather-accented seats embossed with the Tremor logo and all-weather floor mats. The Tremor badging is prominently displayed on the front doors as well.
Ford Everest Tremor – Powertrain
The Everest Tremor is powered by the top-of-the-line 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine, capable of producing 250 horsepower and 600 Newton meters of torque. This robust engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, ensuring power is evenly distributed to all four wheels.
Ford Everest Tremor – Pricing
The Everest Tremor is available at a price of $83,303 in Australia (Rs 46.94 lakh in Indian currency), without any additional options. We previously mentioned that Ford is contemplating introducing the Everest to the Indian market via the CBU route, with the possibility of manufacturing beginning as late as 2026. Although the Everest was previously sold under the Endeavour name in India, it is expected to be marketed as the Everest this time around.
