Mercedes-Benz Unveils 2025 G580 with EQ technology globally. It is the Electric Version of Iconic IC (Internal combustion engine) G-Wagon. In New G580 the Design is same as All other G-Wagons. We get to see lots of new changes on Electric G-Class.
About G580 With EQ
On 24th April 2024 Mercedes-Benz has finally unveil the most awaited vehicle the G580 with EQ technology. The Electric G-Class was first teased in 2021 & finally on 24th April 2024 Mercedes-Benz has unveil the new electrified version of G-Class. Lots of thing are changed in new G580 from Interior & Exterior. Even with all changes Mercedes has retain its Iconic Boxy Design.
The All-New Electric G-Class is powered by four individually controlled motors located near the wheels. they are integrated into the ladder frame & develop a maximum power output of 579 BHP and Maximum Torque of 1,164 Nm. To get 579 Bhp & 1,164 Nm Mercedes has used 116 Kwh high voltage Lithium-ion batteries integrated into ladder frame ensure a low Center of gravity & enable range of upto 473 Kms.
To protect battery pack from water and dust company has provided torsion-resistant casing. All new electric G-Wagon generates virtual differential locks via torque vectoring. The innovative drive concept of G580 enables unique driving function of Off-Road use : G-Turn, G-Steering & intelligent Off Road crawl function. As the new G-Class is electric version of regular G-class. So to give feel of driving a car Company has introduce the [G-Roar] sound experience which includes a G-Class specific driving sound, an Aura& various event sound.
Exterior Of 2025 G580 :
The All-New Electric G-Class may look the same as regular G-Class but there are some changes to new G-Class. In new electric G-Class we get to see new front bumper & radiator grill design. It also get LED strip on the radiator grill to look appealing. The headlights remains the same as of all other G-Class models. A slightly raised bonnet, new A-pillar trim, Spoiler Lips on the roof & air curtains in the rear wheels arch flares contribute to optimized aerodynamic & interior aerocaustics. From side we get to see the same iconic G-Class door handles with G logo on it.
At back side we get to see display box instead of spare wheel. In display box charging accessories are provided. The display box looks good with boxy design of vehicle. Mercedes has also changed the alloy wheel design. It is design for more aerodynamics (AMG) is written on alloy wheels. The Brake calipers of new G580 gets blue Colour for better looks.
Interior Of 2025 G580:
From inside of new electric G-Wagon nothing much has changed. Mercedes has updated its MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User experience) Infotainment system & 12.3 inch driver & media display with touch control are standard now. Mercedes has given some blue stitching on the dashboard and on seats. We also get 2 entertainment screen at back side. It has the same turbine inspired Ac vents. We also get to see Blue carbon fiber inserts on dashboard & near Arm rest portion. On dashboard we get to see new buttons for Off-Road and dedicated button is given for G-Turn. The new updated MBUX gives all essential information about vehicle on the screen.
On regular modals we get touch less infotainment system but on G580 we get to see new infotainment system. At also tells Battery Percentage & distance. We can also see 360 degree view of car on infotainment system. In Off-Road mode we can monitor motors of vehicles. For Luxury feel Mercedes has given ambient light with 64 colour options. Mercedes-Benz is known for its ambient lights & performance. In new G-Wagon we can change the appearance of infotainment system.
