BMW has introduced the M4 CS in India, starting at a base price of Rs 1.89 crore (ex-showroom). Positioned above the M4 Competition, the M4 CS (Competition Sport) boasts various mechanical enhancements that enhance its speed and performance. This marks the debut of the first BMW CS model in the Indian market.

The M4 CS receives several mechanical upgrades, making it more expensive than its competition by Rs 36 lakh. This is to compete with the upcoming Mercedes C 63 S e-Performance.

BMW M4 CS Exterior & Interior Looks :

The M4 CS stands out from the competition with its yellow-tinted daytime-running lights, a feature not found in the M4 Competition. Additionally, the kidney grille is adorned with a red outline and bronze wheels, adding a unique touch. The head-up display is customized with M-specific graphics, and there’s an M Mode button conveniently located on the center console. Furthermore, the M-specific Setup button on the center console offers direct access to adjust settings for the engine, chassis, steering, braking system, and all-wheel drive, enhancing the driving experience.

BMW M4 CS (Interior)

The M4 Competition comes equipped with a flat-bottom Alcantara M steering wheel, an optional feature that adds a touch of luxury. Additionally, it retains the latest iteration of BMW’s signature curved display, featuring a 14.9-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, all powered by the latest BMW Operating System 8.5. The M4 CS takes it a step further with M Carbon bucket seats, enhancing both comfort and style. Other standout features include red ‘CS’ lettering on the center console, M seat belts, and M4 CS door sills, all designed to elevate the driving experience.

BMW M4 CS Engine Power Figures :

The BMW M4 CS features the identical 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight-six engine found in the base M4 model. Yet, this engine is optimized to generate 550hp, which is 20hp greater than the M4 Competition’s version, achieved by raising the turbo boost pressure from 1.7 bar to 2.1 bar. The maximum torque level stays the same at 650Nm, but it’s delivered from 2,750rpm to 5,950rpm – an increase of 220rpm compared to the M4 Competition.

BMW M4 CS (Rear Profile)

BMW has made several enhancements to its powertrain to withstand extended track sessions. These improvements include an upgraded cooling system and an augmented oil supply to the clutch, ensuring that the four-wheel-drive system retains its performance. Additionally, the powertrain’s responsiveness has been boosted by stiffer engine mounts.

The BMW M4 CS is 20kg lighter, thanks to a titanium exhaust silencer and a variety of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) components, including the center console, gearbox paddles, and various interior trim pieces. Additionally, the CS features lighter wheels, with 19-inch alloys at the front and 20-inch alloys at the rear. These modifications have resulted in the BMW M4 CS being able to accelerate from 0-100kph in just 3.4 seconds, 0.1 seconds faster than its competition, the M4 Competition. The car’s top speed is electronically limited to 302kph. It also comes equipped with BMW’s Adaptive M suspension as standard.
