2025 Maruti Suzuki Dzire :
Maruti Suzuki has introduced the fourth-generation Dzire in India, offering introductory prices ranging from Rs 6.79 lakh for the entry-level variant to Rs 10.14 lakh (excluding showroom prices in Delhi) for the premium model. The Dzire is available in four trim levels: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. Additionally, a CNG variant is available in the mid-spec VXi and ZXi trims. For those interested in a more affordable option, Maruti Suzuki also offers the Dzire through its subscription service, allowing customers to choose an EMI of Rs 18,248.
The New Dzire is the first 5-star GNCAP-rated Maruti, equipped with a powerful 82hp Z-Series engine from the Swift. It also features a sunroof for the first time.
2025 Maruti Suzuki Dzire : Design
The new Dzire measures 3,995mm in length, 1,735mm in width, and 1,525mm in height, boasting a 2,450mm wheelbase and a 163mm ground clearance. While it retains the same dimensions, except for a 10mm increase in height, it is a complete departure from its predecessor. Notably, the design is a fresh start, diverging significantly from the previous-gen models, and it does not share any visual similarities with the Swift.
At the front, the new Dzire features a sleek flat hood with subtle creases at each corner, giving it a stylish edge. It is complemented by Audi-inspired “Crystal Vision” headlamps, which are blacked out for a sleek look. The hexagonal grille is larger and boasts five horizontal slats, with the topmost panel showcasing a piano black finish accentuated by a chrome strip. From the side, the doors and fenders are designed with more contoured surfaces, adding to the vehicle’s aesthetic appeal. Additionally, the alloy wheel design has been refreshed, with higher variants sporting a diamond-cut pattern, further enhancing the vehicle’s style.
At the rear, the new Dzire features a square tail lamp design with “3D Trinity LED elements.” The boot lid and bumper design closely resemble that of the predecessor, with the only notable difference being the new contouring lower down on the bumper.
2025 Maruti Suzuki Dzire : Interior
While the overall design draws inspiration from the Swift hatchback, it offers a variety of colors and textures, deviating from the black and silver theme of the Swift. The interior is upholstered in beige, and the dashboard features a dark brown finish, along with faux wood and silver trims. It also boasts the same 9-inch Smartplay Pro Plus unit found on numerous other Marutis, complete with wireless connectivity to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as connected car features.
For the first time, the Dzire – and the compact sedan segment as a whole – features higher variants equipped with a factory-installed single-pane sunroof. Moreover, the new Dzire is now equipped with cruise control, rear AC vents, a rear center armrest, and a 360-degree camera.
2025 Maruti Suzuki Dzire : Engine Specs
The Dzire is equipped with the same 82hp, 112Nm 1.2-litre three-cylinder Z12E petrol engine as the Swift, and it also features an idle start/stop function. When it comes to gearbox options, you can choose between a 5-speed manual or an automatic transmission (AMT) 5-speed. For those looking for a CNG option, the engine delivers 69.75hp and 101.8Nm of power.
2025 Maruti Suzuki Dzire : Safety Rating
The new Maruti Dzire has achieved an impressive 5-star rating for adult occupant protection (AOP) and a 4-star rating for child occupant protection (COP) at the Global New Car Assessment Program (GNCAP). This marks the first time a Maruti vehicle has received a 5-star rating from Global NCAP. The safety features of the new Dzire include six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESP), hill hold assist, Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) brake assist, and three-point seat belts for all seats, along with ISOFIX mounts for child seats.
While the fourth-generation Dzire is set to replace the outgoing model for private buyers, the third-generation Dzire will continue to be sold as the Dzire Tour for fleet owners.
