Bajaj Pulsar N125 : Details

The Pulsar N125 marks Bajaj’s fifth entry in the 125cc displacement category, featuring a state-of-the-art air-cooled, 124.58cc single-cylinder engine. This innovative engine is capable of delivering 12 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 11.1 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, meeting the expectations set by Bajaj’s lineup. As expected, this powerplant is paired with a 5-speed gearbox for optimal performance.

The underpinnings of this class are also well-suited, featuring a straightforward, single-cradle frame supported by a telescopic fork and mono-shock. The braking system consists of a 240mm front disc brake and a 130mm rear drum brake, which handle the stopping duties. Additionally, CBS Hero’s Xtreme 125R stands out as the sole model in this class that offers ABS.

Tyre sizes vary depending on the variant you choose. The front hoop is measured at 80/100-17 on both sides, but the rear hoop is narrower at 100/90-17. Additionally, the Bluetooth variant features a slightly wider rear hoop at 110/80-17.

Similar to the renowned TVS Raider and Hero Xtreme 125R, the Bajaj Pulsar N125 boasts a sleek and eye-catching design, enhanced by its vibrant paint choices. The standard N125 model is available in four colors: white, black, red, and blue, while the Bluetooth variant offers three dual-tone options: black/red, black/yellow, and black/purple. Like its counterparts, the N125 features a split-seating design, though its setup leans more towards the Raider’s design, with the pillion seat positioned slightly lower than the rider’s seat.

Where Bajaj has charted its own course with the Pulsar N125, diverging from the Hero Xtreme 125R and the TVS Raider by incorporating plastic fork shrouds to enhance the front end, fully loaded with a 9.5-liter tank, the Pulsar N125 boasts a weight of 125kg and a seat height of 795mm. What truly sets it apart, however, is its impressive 198mm of ground clearance, despite the underbelly exhaust.

Regarding the features, we introduce a new LED headlight, complemented by color-coded plastic pieces. You’ll receive basic Bluetooth integrated into the LCD display depending on your choice. The Bluetooth variant also features a larger dashboard, a silent starter, and the larger rear tire mentioned earlier. Bajaj is targeting the TVS Raider and the Hero Xtreme 125R with its N125.
