Hero Moto-Corp has Launched The New Variant of Extreme 160R 4V. Hero Extreme 160R 4V is the Premium 160cc Sports Commuter Motorcycle From Hero. In New Variant There are no Mechanical Changes. Mechanical Equipment wise it is same as before. In This Variant Hero has Tweaked the Motorcycle’s Aesthetics & Ergonomics and Also Updated its Safety Features.
Hero Extreme 160R 4V – Overview
Hero MotoCorp has recently introduced updates to the Xtreme 160R 4V, including new features and a fresh color option named Kevlar Brown. The company has decided to offer only the top variant of the motorcycle now, as opposed to the previous three options. The premium model comes equipped with a 37 mm KYB USD fork in the front and an adjustable mono-shock at the rear.
Notable additions consist of a new instrument cluster featuring a drag race timer, a redesigned lower passenger seat, and a panic braking alert system that causes the indicators to flash rapidly for 2.5 seconds during sudden deceleration. Hero claims that the Xtreme 160R 4V is the first sub-300 cc motorcycle to include this safety feature. Additionally, the taillight has been updated with a new design. Hero Extreme 160R 4V – New Updates
Previously, Hero had three options available for the Xtreme 160R 4V, but currently, only the highest-end variant is being offered for sale. The latest feature added to the Xtreme 160R 4V is the introduction of a new color named Kevlar Brown, which is a blend of copper and black, featuring graphics similar to the previous versions. While the other color options are priced at Rs 1.38 lakh, the Kevlar Brown variant comes at a slightly higher price of Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The latest iteration of this top model retains all the characteristics of the previous Xtreme 160R 4V, while introducing dual-channel ABS and a drag race timer. Hero has upgraded the LCD display to a brighter version and included a new LED tail-light reminiscent of the one found on Hero’s flagship Mavrick 440. Additionally, a panic brake alert feature has been added to enhance safety measures. Hero Has Also Changed The Seats From Split Seats to a Single Piece Seats For Better Comfort as Many Customers were complaining about seat comfort & Hero has listen to there customers and made changes to the Motorcycle.

The Xtreme 160R 4V retains its mechanical configuration, featuring a 163cc single-cylinder engine generating 16.9hp at 8,500rpm and 14.6Nm at 6,500rpm. The motorcycle maintains identical hardware, including a 37mm KYB USD fork in the front and a preload adjustable mono-shock in the rear.
