In August, India is set to receive a flood of new SUVs for the market, including models such as the Mahindra Thar Roxx, Citroen Basalt, Nissan X-Trail, Tata Curvv, Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes-Benz GLC 43 Coupe
India is all set to Recieve Bunch of new Cars in Month of August. Probably There will be 8 New Cars that will launch in India Next Month Including SUV & Sedans launches including mass-market offerings as well as luxury models. Here are the List of New SUVs that will go on sale in month of August.
1. Tata Curvv & Tata Curvv EV (SUV Coupe)
Tata motors is all set to launch India’s First Midsize SUV Coupe The New Tata Curvv (ICE & EV) in India on August 7. The New Tata Curvv will be a Midsize Coupe SUV like its competitor (Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta). It will be available in 3 Engine Options 1.2-Litre Turbo-Petrol Engine That puts out 120hp, 1.5-Litre diesel Engine that puts out 115hp & A New 1.2-Litre Three Cylinder Direct Injection Turbo Petrol Engine That puts out 125hp & 225Nm. A Dual Clutch Automatic Transmission System will be available for All 3 Engine Options.
Tata Motors will Also Launch the Electric Version of Tata Curvv. At First Tata will Launch the Curvv EV & Later On Curvv (ICE) will be available. The Overall Design of Tata Curvv (EV & ICE) is identical to each other expect the Front Grill on Curvv EV. In EV Model the Front Grill will be completely closed like othe Tata Motors EV models. The Curvv EV will be available in 2 battery pack 55kWh unit, and the 40.5kWh unit from Nexon LR.
Curvv EV could offer a range of up to 550km, and will get the same equipment list as the Curvv including a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a fully digital driver’s display, a segment-first powered tailgate with gesture function, a panoramic sunroof, reclining rear seat, ventilated front seats, and ADAS Level 2.
2. Mahindra Thar Roxx 5-Door (SUV)
Mahindra’s Most Anticipated SUV is Finally Revealed, The New 5-Door Thar. The New 5-Door Thar is Named as Thar Roxx. The New Thar Roxx will officially Launch on August 15. We will get to see New Features in Thar Roxx, Like 10.25 inch Touchscreen Infotainment System, 360 degree parking camera, LED Headlight, ADAS, New Alloy Wheel Design. The Overall Design will be carried from the regular 3-Door Thar. we can Expect Thar Roxx Pricing between 15-20 Lakh.
3. Citroen Basalt (SUV Coupe)
The Citroen Basalt is set to compete in the coupe-SUV segment alongside the Tata Curvv. The production-ready version of the Basalt is debuting globally on August 2, with an imminent launch. It will feature a dashboard similar to the C3 Aircross but with added perks like an auto climate control system with toggle switches, contoured rear headrests, and a larger front armrest with storage capabilities. Equipped with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine capable of producing 110 horsepower and 205 Newton meters of torque, the Basalt offers both manual and automatic transmission options.
4. Nissan X-Trail (SUV)
Nissan has Revealed the 4th Generation X-Trail For Indian Market Ahead of its official Launch. The new X-Trail will be available for limited Numbers for Indian Market & will be bought in India through CBU (completely built unit). With the Launch of Nissan X-Trail the Overall line-up of Nissan Will increase in India to Attract Customers.
The fourth-generation X-Trail, which is built on the CMF-C platform, has been available for purchase internationally since 2021 in both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations. However, the Indian market will receive the three-row variant. The X-Trail boasts a boxy and upright appearance, along with a split-headlamp design, a ‘V-Motion’ grille with dark chrome accents, rounded wheel arches featuring plastic cladding, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and wraparound LED tail-lamps.
X-Trail for India will only have a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. This engine has a variable compression ratio and is equipped with a 12V mild-hybrid system, generating 163hp and 300Nm. It will be matched with a shift-by-wire CVT auto gearbox, which is claimed to have minimal rubberband effect.
The X-Trail’s prices are anticipated to fall within the range of Rs 40 lakh to Rs 45 lakh, given that the SUV will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU).
5. Lamborghini Urus SE (SUV)
The launch date for the Lamborghini Urus SE in India is set for August 9. In addition to the standard Urus, the SE trim features exterior styling changes, a new 12.3-inch central touchscreen, updated dashboard panels, and redesigned AC vents. It is equipped with a 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with a plug-in hybrid system that utilizes a 25.9kWh lithium-ion battery pack. With a total output of 800hp and 950Nm torque, the SE trim will be the most powerful version of the SUV and will serve as the range-topping model in the Urus lineup.
6. Mercedes-Benz GLC 43 4Matic (SUV Coupe)
The GLC 43 4Matic Coupe was revealed in September last year and is now making its way to India, scheduled for launch on August 8. Equipped with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology similar to the AMG C 43, the GLC boasts 421hp and 500Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100kph in just 4.7 seconds. In addition to its coupe-like rear design, the GLC 43 showcases distinctive AMG styling elements both inside and out. The price of the GLC 43 4Matic Coupe in India is expected to exceed Rs 1 crore.
