TVS’ Superhit model, the Jupiter 110 scooter, has been given its first all-encompassing update since its introduction eleven years ago. The 2024 version introduces a new engine, increased technological features, updated styling, and improved practicality. Starting prices range from Rs 73,700 (excluding showroom).

The new 113cc motor is a direct descendant of the Jupiter 125’s engine. The top variants feature micro-hybrid assist, similar to that found in Yamaha 125cc scooters. Additionally, the new fuel tank, boasting a 33-liter under-seat storage capacity, is also a feature borrowed from the Jupiter 125.

Prices have risen by Rs 50 from the previous model, and the TVS Jupiter 110 is now available in four variants.

TVS Jupiter 110 – New Updates

The previous TVS Jupiter 110’s design was relatively straightforward, but the 2024 model has taken a significant departure from its predecessor. It now boasts large LED DRLs at both the front and rear, complemented by integrated turn signals. The body panels have been meticulously crafted, rendering this scooter one of the most aerodynamic designs within the 110cc category.

The design of the 2024 Jupiter 110 draws heavily from the Jupiter 125, with notable similarities. The 5.1-liter fuel tank, previously situated under the floorboard, now features a front apron opening for enhanced convenience. Both Jupiter scooters now boast a spacious 33-liter under-seat storage area, capable of holding two half-face helmets. However, during our previous testing, we encountered difficulty fitting an imported full-face helmet into the Jupiter 125.

The new 113cc engine, a derivative of the Jupiter 125, offers peak outputs of 8hp and 9.8Nm, a modest increase of just 0.1hp but a significant gain of 1Nm. This enhancement is made possible by the integration of a segment-first ‘iGO Assist’ micro-hybrid technology. This innovative system features a more robust battery, recharged by the engine during deceleration, which in turn powers an ancillary ISG motor, providing an additional burst of power when necessary.

The Jupiter 110 stands out as the sole model in its category equipped with 12-inch wheels and 90/90-12 tires at both ends. The highest-end variants feature a 220mm front disc, while all others are equipped with a 130mm rear drum brake.

A new Bluetooth-compatible digital display is now available in the higher-end models, equipped with turn-by-turn navigation, call and notification alerts, and voice assistance. The TVS SmartXconnect app provides a variety of features that can be accessed by linking the dash to your smartphone. Additionally, the 2024 Jupiter 110 features start/stop technology, designed to enhance fuel efficiency.

In the world of motorcycles, it’s becoming the norm to see indicators rapidly flash when you apply the brakes hard in an emergency situation. This feature is now available on the TVS Jupiter 110. Additionally, the indicators will automatically turn off 100 meters or 20 seconds after a turn.

TVS Jupiter 110 – Pricing, Rivals

The 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 is now available in four distinct variants: Drum (starting at Rs 73,700), Drum Alloy (ranging from Rs 79,200 to Rs 83,250), Drum SmartXconnect (starting at Rs 83,250), and Disc SmartXconnect (ranging from Rs 87,250). These models are available in six vibrant colors, offering a wide range of style options. At its current price point, the Jupiter 110 is competitively positioned with its predecessor. The only other 110cc scooters in this segment include the popular Honda Activa (ranging from Rs 76,684 to Rs 82,684) and the Hero Pleasure (ranging from Rs 74,663 to Rs 83,113).
